Mechanical Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking for a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our team and oversee the inspection of drilling rigs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with specific experience in inspecting and maintaining drilling rig equipment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of drilling rig equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Identify and document equipment deficiencies or issues, and recommend appropriate maintenance or repair actions.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize repairs based on inspection findings.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and reports to ensure regulatory compliance. - Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot mechanical issues on drilling rigs.
• Participate in safety meetings and ensure adherence to safety protocols during inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Inspector in the oil and gas industry, specifically with drilling rigs.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil field.
• At least 10 Years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector.
• IADC certification is required.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling rig equipment and components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications in mechanical inspection or related fields are preferred.
