Electrical Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our team and oversee the inspection of electrical systems on drilling and workover rigs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical components and systems in industrial environments, with a strong ability to identify and address potential issues.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on drilling and workover rigs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and report electrical faults or hazards, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and carry out necessary maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices related to electrical systems on rigs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Inspector in the oil and gas industry, specifically with drilling rigs.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil field.
• At least 10 Years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector.
• IADC certification is required.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling rig equipment and components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
