Drops Surveyor

Job Description

We are seeking for a skilled Drop Object Surveyor to join our team and help ensure the safety and integrity of drilling and workover rigs by conducting thorough surveys and inspections to prevent dropped object incidents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in identifying potential hazards and implementing effective measures to mitigate risks.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct regular surveys and inspections on drilling and workover rigs to identify and assess potential dropped object hazards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain procedures to prevent dropped object incidents.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve any identified risks promptly.
• Prepare detailed reports on survey findings and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience conducting drop object surveys in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 10 Years of experience in the oil field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a DROPS Surveyor.
• DROPS certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to drilling and workover operations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Relevant certifications or training in drop object prevention and safety practices.
